Good morning, all.

Fall isn't officially here yet, but it sure feels like it.

Morning guys....A nother nice, fall feeling, morning. The only thing affecting the almost perfect weather, is the smoky haze from the fires out west.

I'm, kind of, at a standstill with the door, until I get the new handle. We went to the glass place I use over in the 'city' and ordered the glass. We went with a seedy glass. It will come as an insulated two pane system. Not sure how long it is going to take, but it will take as long as it takes.

It has been hazy here for the last week.... thinking its the smoke from the fires out west.... not our usual bright blue skies.....

took the GS into my spine Docs appointment yesterday.... it ran great.... the spine Doc says they want to give me a cortisone shot in the spine with an xray assist for placement... if that works or helps then they want to do a procedure that puts some cushion back the 2 lower vertebrae are missing that. I told him about the 1/3 1/3 and a 1/3 deal that folks complain about and he said that would be possibly true for a spinal fusion but this procedure has had a very high success rate.... how high I asked..... very high he said...... I will ponder it says I..... meanwhile will do the cortisone thing next week..... I'm beyond what the bone cruncher or therapy will accomplish in the long run...

more on dat later...... back to work today.....keep your powder dry Guru's.....

Good Afternoon CGs!

Good luck with the spine doctor, Marcus. Having back problems of my own I understand.

RR#2 had his first Taekwondo class yesterday at a local place. He had been taking karate at the rec center for the last year and a half but he never seemed to enjoy it and he didn't want to do it anymore once they stopped for covid. I convinced him to give TKD a try and he really enjoyed it. Came out of class with a huge smile and complaining that his legs hurt. I studied martial arts for many years so I'm excited for him. I plan on teaching him at home as well so his progress will be leaps and bounds above the other new students. Already gave him a quick lesson last night and we'll be doing more tonight. I hope he enjoys it as much as I did.

Had to take the dog to the vet this morning. He was shaking his head and scratching so I "diagnosed" it as an ear infection. I was right. And he has an eye infection on the same side in conjunction. We went to a different vet than we normally used. We have not been happy with our old practice. It was very large and they did not take appointments it was walk-in only. We never seemed to get a good level of care there. This new doctor is fantastic. She's been a vet for a long time. It is her sole practice and she has one vet tech and one other employee. That's it. I thought her prices were reasonable but after the consultation, the lab work, and four different medications I walked out $425 lighter. I'm not complaining about her price that's just what it cost. One med was $89 by itself. She came out and talked to me for longer than our previous vet would be in the room for the entire visit. I like her.

Hope everyone has a great day!
