I am trying to be of good cheer...maybe some hot toddies will be a help..... Warning Danger Danger Tommy..... falling iguanas in your forecast....may hit low 40's or even in the 30's in some areas in sunny Florida.... thought we up here should share some of what we got with all yous down there...

So Gris.... if an AR-15 is chambered for a 5.56 Nato round can it shoot a .223 shell? what is the difference there? I think one won't shoot in the other but can't remember.... I've got a guy who has a lot of .223 rounds who would sell me some but I want to make sure they will work. These are new rounds.... please tell all....

The blizzard is over and now its just cold.... I am going to venture out of the domicile and go find a store and buy some stuff.... then I will scurry back and start a fire in the fireplace and watch some movies or something.....

Have a pleasant day Guru's.....

Merry Christmas Friends!
Pretty much ready for it here. The only thing I have left to do is start my shopping! It’s a short list, something for the missuz.
Marc, the way it was explained to me is there are arms chambered for .223 and those for 5.56mm. The 5.56 is the physically and only slightly larger of the two, so it will take the .223. But chamber’s for the .223 will not accept the 5.56mm. I hope I don’t have that backwards. And please, Correct me if I’m wrong.
Have a great Christmas Eve everyone!

Good morning, all.

The church whose choir school that I attended in the late seventies and early eighties usually webcasts its services, but in the past, it was just sound (no video). Because 2020, they now have video, and on Sunday, they did the usual festival of Lessons and Carols. It was a little more ragged than in a normal year, but they still sounded good. My biggest takeaway is that the boys still sway back and forth when they sing—just like we did all those years ago.

Hope everyone enjoys their eve and day tomorrow. It's quiet here where I would usually be preparing for an onslaught of activity tomorrow. I miss it. OK, that's enough missing it. Onward to a quiet two days. Sue wants to go north to the casino. On Dasher, on Prancer, on Donner and Blitzen, to the Hard Rock we go. Where it's always the same f'n day, man. Hope they fill our stockings with cheer.

Hey guys, Up and around this morning spreading some Christmas cheer (delivering bills for work done). Got checks from both clients.

We are finishing up the details for tonight. Just got a message from #1GS asking if we can do Christmas tomorrow, as his fiance has to work until 8:30....uhhh, no, we are leaving in the morning to spend the day with great grandpa. We can do it when you get over here tonight, if you are coming, or sometime later.......

I hope and pray for all my friends here for a wonderful Christmas.

AS I RECALL THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS IN THE THROATING OF THE CHAMBER IN MILITARY WEAPONS. NEITHER THE SIERRA MANUAL #V NOR THE NOSLER #6 BOTHER TO MENTION ANY DIFFERENCES, OTHER THAN LOADS FOR BOLT ACTIONS VS AR'S.

PRETTY ACADEMIC, I'D SAY, BUY THOSE ROUNDS IF THE PRICE IS RIGHT, MARCUS.

Good Afternoon CGs!

First year since we've been married that we won't be having traditional Christmas Eve dinner at her folks' house. Kind of sad. Quarantine really sucks in that regard. So it will just be the four of us. After that we'll open some gifts so at least the kids will get to enjoy that. Well probably do a video call so Dziadek and Baba can see it.

Hope everyone has a great day!
