SUNNY AND NOT SO COLD THIS MORNING, THE INDN NATIONS ARE SUPPOSED TO GET SOME WESTERN OKLAHOMA CLASS WIND TODAY. BACK IN THE GOOD OLD DAYS, I REMEMBER CANCELING BIRD HUNTS OUT THERE BECAUSE THE WIND WOULD BLOW MY SCRAWNY LITTLE SETTER BITCH OFF POINT :-)

LA MEXICANA HAS GOT THE KUNG FLU, DON'T KNOW HOW SHE IS DOING; BIG DAUGHTER IS WORRIED ABOUT HER PARENTS GETTING IT AS SHE LIVES AT HOME.

OPEN AGENDA TODAY, GOT MY CHAINSAW BACK SO I COULD LOWER SOME STUMPS. OUR TREE GUY TOOK OUT A COUPLE OF DEAD PINE TREES AND LEFT STUMPS TOO HIGH TO MOW OVER. OR I COULD WAIT TILL THE WEEKEND AND LET #2 SIL DO IT---DECISIONS, DECISIONS.

ENJOY THE DAY, Y'ALL.

Good afternoon. Bright and sunny here although chilly. We're still ecstatic there's a bright ball in the sky however, been taking a break outside here and there. Nothing much going on today at the job, I'm done with "my part" of all projects and boss is piled up.

Overcast and cool day today. Can't fish, already ate. That meant shopping. There are only so many things you can do on vacation. One of them only takes 1/2 an hour including clean up.

Congratulations on the birth, Gris.

Raining here now but supposed to turn to snow. Plus more snow over the next 4-5 days. I got the winter tires mounted on the Honda this morning so I should be ready.

Is it spring yet?

Hey guys...Up a little early and out to the shop too get some things done. A friend contacted me to build a stairway for his wife at her business. She has a storage area above a room in the back of her building that she has used as a storage area for years. But she accesses it by climbing a ladder. She is a couple years older than I, and has no business climbing a ladder hauling stuff up and down. So he convinced her to allow me to design and build the staircase. A bit of confined area and access to the room is through a door right in the middle of where the stairs needed to go. So will need to move the door opening first. With the wind blowing hard today I moved the lumber inside the shop and cut the 'stringers'. Then went down and we tore into the wall to move the door. Then hung the first stringer against the wall, built the landing then hung the outside stringer and applied the risers. Had to stop short of screwing the treads down as I didn't have the liquid nails and it was getting close to 5. Tomorrow, I will put the treads down and build a handrail.

As I mentioned it has been a very windy day, even by our standards 30-40 mph with higher gusts. With temps in the low 40s it was not a day to be outside, if you could help it.

Tommy, You can do that every day on vacation...like you said, it only takes a half hour.
