WELL, TROUBLE THE WONDER DOG WON'T BE COMING IN THE HOUSE FOR A WHILE. HE CAME BACK FROM HIS MORNING RUN WITH A DEAD SKUNK IN HIS MOUTH. HIS KILL OR ROAD KILL? I DID HEAR HIM BARKING "TREED" BUT THE SMELL IS NOT AS BAD AS WOULD BE EXPECTED IF HE KILLED IT.

taking it easy today.... naps and such.... colder and more windy than yesterday. We were blessed with some nice days for Mom's funeral and that always is nice...

Het folks, slept late, got up and headed to the 'city' to do the grocery shopping. back home unloaded. then picked up the GSs and moved some things around. On the way home I said to them that I was going to wash the pickup and if they wanted to bring thir cars over we could do theirs too. Well, I just barely got started on the pickup, when #3 shows up. He helps me do the pickup, then wee spend about 2 1/2 hours washing and cleaning his.

I noticed that someone (morethan likely at school) had scratched the drivers door and drivers back door. Looked like someone had backed out and the bumper caught the doors. Scratches about 8" wide and 10" on the back of the drivers door and all the way down the back door. Luckily, I believe it was only the flexible bumper part that hit, no dents. I had him pull it in and we got the buffer out and with the RO buffer and Adams Heavy Correcting, Correcting and Polishing compounds and appropriate pads, we were able to get 95% of the scratches out. Then he added a coat of Rejex to the whole car. For an 007 CTS with 148K on thee clock it looks pretty doggone good.

Back to the 'city' in the morning as Rosie has a dental appt. She still not supposed to drive. We need to get back ASAP as my delivery of cabinet materials is SUPPOSED to be here tomorrow.....THEY'D better be.
