Good morning. Summer continues here also. Seems I now live in Death Valley. Heat indexes here 110ish and one nearby town 123 per the latest map. Humidity today is 76. I got overheated Monday outside working, then after work yesterday I went right back home and was outside messing with crap again till around 8. Got very hot again. Woke up at 3:15 with pounding headache. Thinking if I'm not busy later I'll go home and sleep then come back Friday afternoon to make up my half day.
I agree we're being governed by idiots. Nothing makes sense anymore. And I know the virus is real i know they're "fear mongering" as a goal to get people vaccinated but I'm beyond sick of my newsfeeds being filled every hour with stories about it. Get it if you want or don't your choice - but if you want people to get it , then make it where they can sue Pfizer/Moderna/JJ as shots aren't one size fits all, everybody's chemistry is different, bad shit happens and then having it forced on you when you have no recourse is a bit Hitler-ish to me.
That's my thoughts and done with it.
Thinking of the mention of Branson yesterday, that's only like 5 hours from me and I've not been in years, Arron hasn't been at all. We need a get away. Our MO friends near Jeff city have asked us to come up, thinking a long weekend and got o Branson for a couple days then to their house for a couple days then back home. Week maybe? We need a break before we start on our floors. Plus I'd like to enjoy summer somewhat.

But there’s a lot more of us than there are of them. Just sayin’.

On a more positive note, I’ve read a bit from past days, and I’m encouraged that you’re all generally doing well.

I finally twisted enough arms and found out whether or not my short-term disability is approved. It is, but surgery was a week ago. Why can’t I find these things in a more timely fashion?

Hello. Busy day today.

Hey guys, yea, what Letty said. Heat indexes here in the 110 to 120 range. Yesterday, we got through the first half of the golf round fine. By the the third hole on the back nine the heat hit us hard. Robert and I decided it was best to call it a day and we drove back to the clubhouse and came back to the condo.

Today we decided just to stay in. The girls just went down to the pool, Robert and I have chosen to stay in the condo. We have a show this evening at five, we’ll go out then.

We are going to head back to KC tomorrow afternoon. That will give us a chance to see them before we head home Sunday and before school starts for them.

We really need to do something about this farce, we call the federal government. They are going to run the country into bankruptcy.

FOUND THE DOG FOOD I WANTED AT WALMART.

TROUBLE THE WONDERDOG GOT SNAKEBIT LAST NIGHT, HEAD ALL SWOLLEN UP, IT HAS NOT EFFECTED HIS APPETITE OR ACTIVITY LEVEL.

A LEARNING EXPERIENCE :-0

ALSO GOT THE LAST OF THE TIRE PRESSURE SENSORS REPLACED ON THE TRUCK. IT'S BEEN A BIT OF A HASSLE AS THE LAST ONE WOULD WORK SOMETIMES, SOMETIMES NOT. IT FINALLY DIED FOR GOOD AND NOW ALL FOUR ARE RELATIVELY NEW.

I started replacing those all four at a time, that way I don’t worry about them, Gris.

Went to “Back to the Beegees” show this evening. Very well done show.
