CLOUDY AND COOLER IN THE NATIONS, 72 DEGREES AT 0857HR. THE CHOCTAWS AND CHICKASAWS ARE GETTING RAINED ON, HERE WE GOT JUST ENOUGH TO LAY THE DUST. TULSA GOT SOME HEAVY RAIN.

SURVIVED FRIDAY THE 13TH WITHOUT MAJOR DISASTER BUT WITH MINOR BLOODSHED. MOWED THE REST OF THE OBSTACLE COURSE; PISTOL AGAIN FELL OUT OF HOLSTER. THIS TIME IT LODGED BESIDE THE ENGINE OF THE MOWER. TOOK A PATCH OF HIDE OFF MY THUMB IN THE PROCESS.

REWARDED MYSELF WITH A NAPUS MAXIMUS FOLLOWED BY CAFECITO
WHILE I WATCHED "KILLER", THE DEFENDER OF THE WEST PATIO HUMMINGBIRD FEEDER, REPEL A DETERMINED AND COORDINATED INVASION BY TWO RIVALS. A WIN FOR THE HOME TEAM, I THINK. (IT'S ABOUT IMPOSSIBLE TO TELL HUMMING BIRDS APART)

GOING TO OKMULGEE FOR SUPPER W/ BIG DAUGHTER & FAMILY, #1 GRANDDAUGHTER, THE NEWLY MINTED GP MAY BE THERE AND I HAVE A RING I BOUGHT FOR #4.

The weather is sunny and a light breeze. The weather wizards might be eating their hats again. Even last night they were predicting rain in the overnight hours. Significant rain seemed to avoid the area. As always, it is better to be prepared. I'm sure we will get some rain later, but hey, this is Florida in the summer rainy season. We usually get some rain. My body clock is still out of whack. I'm now sleeping on central standard time.

Morning guys...Still cool but going to warm up a bit more than yesterday...upper 80s to low 90s.

Moving a fire-rated door, that I have been commissioned to strip, restain and finish, out so I can spray the lacquer on it. That's really the only thing I have planned for today, other than church.

Tommy, glad you missed the nasty stuff last night.

I need to get going.

Good afternoon, all.

Slightly more civilized in the Philadelphia area today.

On the Bring a Trailer front, I have sent a few revisions to their description of the 1985. The current plan is for the auction to begin in late August (they last seven days).

Meanwhile, I continue to prep the 2003 for Corvettes at Carlisle—a busy Corvette month!

so big John is that a no reserve auction or do you set a limit at what you want to get?

Went into the Star City today and hung the hardware and drapes in the newly minted nursery at daughter #2's.... ETA is one month and counting on my first grandchild....I hardly seem old enough to be a grandpa.....

stopped at my favorite Greek food place for gyro's and fixings...... such huge portions..... so good though....

Now a nap and then maybe a HD ride.....still trying to get it to 500 miles which then they say you can take it up to 4K rpm...... not much past 3K for first 500... at 1000 you go in for the break in oil to be taken out and the synthetic put in....and they check out all the rest of the bike..... bike fits me well and is very comfortable to ride...... and it is a trophy winner at its first show...... ok competition might have been a bit slim but still...... enjoy your day Guru's....
