SUNNY AND 72 IN THE NATIONS, HUMIDITY 88%. SEEMS LIKE IT RAINED EVERYWHERE BUT HERE. WAS GOING TO DRIVE THE BUMBLEBEE TO OKMULGEE YESTERDAY EVENING BUT THOUGHT IT MIGHT RAIN ON MY NEWLY DETAILED CAR. SO I TOOK DW'S LITTLE BLUE CAR AND SURE ENOUGH IT STARTED RAINING AT FT GIBSON AND RAINED HARD ALL THE WAY TO THE OTHER SIDE OF MUSKOGEE.

NICE GET TOGETHER AT BIG DAUGHTER'S, GRANDDAUGHTERS 1, 3, & 4, #1 GRANDSON AND THE WARRIOR PRINCESS, AND GREAT-GRANDSON, THE STAR OF THE SHOW, PLUS ASSORTED DOGS.

#4 GD WAS REALLY PLEASED WITH THE LITTLE RING I BOUGHT HER. BACK STORY: SHE HAS CLEFT HANDS & FEET. HER HANDS LOOK LIKE SOMETHING OUT OF A HORROR MOVIE AND SHE TENDS TO HIDE THEM. I NEVER GOT HER A RING AS I THOUGHT SHE WOULD NOT WANT ANYTHING THAT WOULD CALL ATTENTION TO HER HANDS. THEN ONE DAY I SAW HER LOOKING ENVIOUSLY AT A RING I GOT HER SISTER AND TRYING IT ON SO I THOUGHT I'D TAKE A CHANCE. SHE IS THE FAMILY GIRLY-GIRL :-)

Got the grass cut yesterday morning. Tinkered with the Corvette testing a few things. Started a workout and halfway through I had to quit. RR#2 had a belt testing at tae kwon do. Was supposed to be via zoom only but they couldn't get it to work so I drove over in person (along with the other parents). Came home and finished putting the Corvette back together. Alternator is done but still at the rebuilder.

We went couch shopping last night. The old one is worn out. Wife wants one style and I want another....isn't that marriage? Most likely end up with a sectional style sofa but my requirement is it reclines. She can pick the rest. Store employee said 2-4 month delivery time due to covid backlogs. Good thing we don't need it tomorrow.

Today... I get to fix the suburban... new ignition key bits... sigh...

Otherwise, it's been typical around here, hot and dry.

Funny thing... Accuweather.com's app tells me that there is no precipitation expected in the next 60 minutes. I think it should say "60 days". That's more accurate.

Morning all.....we bought a new couch set up for the downstairs movie room..... one of those that goes in a half circle.... with lots of drink holders and kick outs..... we waited for it also...then when the different pieces were finally delivered one portion of the 5 piece set was damaged and so now we wait until they can replace it..... geez... can't anything be simple anymore?

Took the HD out last night and had a great evening ride... it even got chilly enough I had to put a light jacket on... lot of power in that 114" engine....

today I am doing some house chores and washing clothes getting ready for next week..... enjoy Guru's
