79/82 AND OVERCAST THIS MORNING, 60% CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS, SAY THE WEATHER WIZARDS. WONDER IF WE'LL EVER GET A BREAK FROM THIS MISERABLE HUMIDITY.

THE DOVE HUNT WAS ABORTED, FOUR HOURS WINDSHIELD TIME JUST TO GET RAINED ON WAS NOT AN ATTRACTIVE SCENARIO. WE'LL TRY AGAIN NEXT SATURDAY.

I AM LEFT WITH THE PROSPECT OF AN EMPTY DAY, OH WHAT SHALL I DO, BETWEEN NAPS, THAT IS :-)

HAD SUPPER AT OUR FAVORITE CHINESE BUFFET LAST NIGHT, PLACE WAS FULL OF GROSSLY FAT PEOPLE, BUFFETS SEEM TO ATTRACT THEM :-0 WATCHED ONE GUY WHO SEEMED TO BE ON A ONE PLATE DIET, BUT THE PLATE WAS PILED EIGHT INCHES HIGH. HE NEEDED SIDEBOARDS---

Computer issues at the nursery. Dell desktop Keyboard failure. Apparently motherboard related. Suggested fix was power off, remove power cord, hold on /off for 30 seconds, remove panel, remove battery (CR2032) from the motherboard, hold on/off 30 seconds and let sit for a few hours. If that doesn't fix it the motherboard is likely toast. This is a stand alone no web connected 9 year old desktop, Windows 8 and loaded with Quickbooks 2016. All the inventory and pricing info is on it but also on a backup hard drive. The nightmare comes if we buy a new computer. We have to hopefully transfer all the files. Quickbooks will require a license number to do it. Not to forget all the software and hardware changes. I hate when this happens. Not to forget there is no internet and of course no wifi at the nursery. It's a stand alone. All the new computers are wi-fi ready with online software downloads making it an agrivating sonofabitch. We use hardwire connections at the nursery for the printer, back up, mouse and keyboard.Change is not kind. It often leaves behind a number of clients and forces them to upgrade to expensive add ons like monthly internet service with wi-fi. Compatability with old programs is another fun interface and exchange. Whatever happenened to Windows 3.0 being all the computer we will ever need?

I am writing this on my 9 or 10 year old Toshiba Satellite laptop.... it has everything I need and want....but my computer wizard guy last time he was here to make it all keep working said.... you need to just get a new computer..... I'm like ... Whaaaat... just got this one seems like..... just keep it going I told him hell probably is a shortage of chips for them anyway....

I see GM is shutting down 8 plants for 2 weeks or more because they can't get chips... I called my Chevy salesperson the other day wanting to know what the deal was if I wanted to buy a new Duramax.... she said good luck with that....maybe next year.... got a list of orders in now and they may get one a month if they are lucky.... looks like tuff times for the big pickup trucks if you need one.

pretty sure its that dumbass bidens fault.....

better get back to my chores...

Good Afternoon CGs!

Gris, I'm pretty sure they have while communities devoted to what you posted. Most seem to be in Florida. Ask Tommy....

John, glad the tornado missed you guys.

Stopped over at mom's house today to help with some chores. Had to cut down some dead branches and burn them in the pile along with old financial documents. The kids had a ball doing that. Something about fire is enticing to both young and old.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!
