The Honda started making a very unusual ticking noise the other day. I stopped by the dealership where I have a couple buddies and they told me that the timing chain tensioner is bad. So I'll be dropping that off to get fixed. There are certain things that I just don't want to do anymore. Leave it to the professionals.

Speaking of that my father-in-law stopped by a local chain place by me to get an oil change Monday. As soon as he left the car started making some kind of screeching sound. So he takes it back and they told him he needs brakes. The thing is it wasn't making any noise before he pulled in. This particular shop has had some bad reviews in the past and I think they intentionally bent a backing plate or did something to make the noise. So he told them that they will do the brakes on wednesday. My wife told me this and I just about lost my mind because I know how much they will charge him and I think that they are taking him for a ride. So my wife called him and told him how frustrated I was about that and he's supposed to cancel the appointment. I don't know if he will, he's pretty stubborn. It's not my money but I don't like to see my family get taken advantage of.

Yesterday I had to deal with AT&T for a phone line problem. I can make outgoing calls but not getting incoming calls. As the agent was scheduling the repair she said I'm going to let them know you're elderly. Maybe they can speed it up. To which I responded " I'm not elderly. I'm only 66".

I'LL TAKE THE TOMATO OVER TO MUSKOGEE FOR IT'S NOVEMBER OIL CHANGE. THIS IS A LOCAL PLACE I'VE BEE USING SINCE I CAME TO THE IND'N NATIONS IN 2000. THE LEAVES ARE COMING DOWN RAPIDLY, NEED TO BLOW THE PATIOS OFF AGAIN.

good morning, looks like everybody had a productive last few days. I stayed off the computer but sat outside yesterday and read through old posts, I posted but looking on the pc today I don't see it. weird. Speaking of ATT and all things phone (which I used for my missing post), I think them or apple one is trying to funnel me into an upgrade. They work together ya know. Nothing on my watch or phone has acted right the last couple weeks. Walked into a pile of work at the office today, hopefully energy maintains and I can get in the gym after work. Then on to Kroger and then home for more stuff to do. The south end heating unit is on the fritz, that makes something or another with all three of em this fall so far. Ready for it to stawp already. Looking like new circuit board. Always something.
But, hey it's nice outside - maybe I can sneak out for a few later.
