THE SUN IS SHINING ON THE PUDDLES AND ITS 49 DEGREES ON THE FRONT PORCH. THERE IS AN INCH IN THE RAIN GAUGE. THERE WAS SOME WIND DAMAGE IN THE TULSA AREA, NOT SURE IF IT WAS STRAIGHT LINE OR TORNADO. IT'LL BE A PRETTY DAY, BUT COOL, 61 FOR THE HIGH.

I'LL PACK UP FOR THE GUNSHOW TODAY, LOOK FOR SOME DOG CHEWS.
HAVE VERY LITTLE TO PUT ON THE TABLE, NOTHING THAT I'M LOOKING FOR. I'LL HAVE TO CUT OUT SUNDAY FOR #8 GRANDSON'S BD PARTY IN OKC.

Morning guys....It chilly in the hood this morning, 32 now, but headed to the upper 50s.

I'm sitting here awaiting my iPhone to update, before making a call to order some lumber/hardware/supplies to finish up some projects.

Might go up to the school to the "veterans day program" They will award 4 or 5 "Quilts of Valor" to veterans.

Have a great day.

Good morning - cool but muggy here, rained all night so I have a new bucket of rainwater for the outside plants that are now inside. I'll add a tad of fertilizer and hit em all when I get home. Hoping for a slow day at the office, rain moving out, temps should continue to drop. Need to visit the gym after but I still feel like I"m alseep, might be the weather who knows. I feel like I died last night and still not moving fast. I have a trailer and a van to work on but should be done with both by noon.
I suppose all you have holiday plans, turkey day, Christmas etc - but is it my age or what that this year I am absolutely not inclined to bother with either? I feel weird about it but Im just not into it this year. Couldn't care less. Is this a menopause thing where my give a sh*t has left - or rather a "last 2 years of covid, bad economy bad politics" thing?

Hey guys, worked in the shop for a while this morning, before Rosie came out and said we should go to the school and watch the Veterans Day program...excellent decision. Our Middle school has a class, taught be our good friend, who teaches quilting and they make "Quilts of Valor" and present them to local Veterans. Today they presented 4...a moving experience.

Back home we had lunch and then GS came over and we did a brake job on his CTS...finally got the right parts. He did the drivers side, front and rear, after I showed him what and how to do things on the passenger side. Took about 2 hours. then he did an oil change and washed it.

I then went back out to the shop and mounted some drawers in some cabinets I am building.

tomorrow I will go to the town to the north of us to participate in an honor guard, at a funeral, for a KofC member who passed late last week.

windy cold windy.... wind chill 18 degrees..... good day to stay in and do projects in the shop but I better go to work.... a week from today our second grandbaby will make and entrance.....

I see downtown Seattle ia ao dangerous now that they have to supply armed guards to escort the city and county workers to the trains and parking areas..... and they are just getting ready to cut another 12 million out of the police budget in the defund the police idiocy...... does that make sense?

lock and load kids..... its going to get interesting....

Seattle is where my grandbaby is going to be residing..... nice!
