Good Morning CGs!

Cold and gloomy here again. Not a fan of this weather. Guess I'm stuck with it for a few months.

Had a surprise birthday dinner party for the wife last night. It was a success and she didn't catch on. A total of 15 of us which was the immediate family and one of her cousins. Food was great and everyone had a good time. Bill was less than I had budgeted for so that's always a bonus, too.

Ordered a new self contained subwoofer kit for the Vette. A cerwin vega brand off Amazon. They used to be big back in the 90s. My buddy installed one in a different classic car and said it sounds really good. I don't need to rattle the neighbor's windows, just want something that sounds decent. Hopefully the complete new stereo setup will be installed next week.

Nothing like riding around listening to some of your favorite music.

The visit from my buddy and his wife went well. I think they enjoyed their short visit. They're down in Key West now. It was rainy for the past two days but the sunshine has returned. Wouldn't be the Sunshine State without sunshine. Struggling to regain full strenghth. Feeling somewhat better today. I hate the feeling I get when my allergies hit me. Wish I knew the cure. Oh well. The good news is I feel a little better.

allergies are a bitch..... most everything you take is a band aid ...... anything that helps is what I say....

got chores to do today..... some with a chainsaw..... now there's a man's tool.... stand back honey..... I'll take care of that sapling.......

Hey guys... worked in the shop most of the day, piddling with this and that.

Going out to the "Pheasants Forever" banquet/fundraiser this evening. I've donated several cutting boards for sale/auction, so I get free tickets....the food is always good.

Been a pretty nice day here, upper 60s for the high, but was pretty chilly overnight with a low in the mid 20s. Mid 70s tomorrow.

LONG DAY AT TULSA; SOLD MY SERIES 70 .45 AND SOME BOOKS, SAM SOLD A SWORD AND A SAA COLT, BOUGHT TWO SWORDS AND ANOTHER SAA. CROWD WAS GOOD BUT NOT AS GOOD AS PRE-KUNG FLU DAYS. SAW A LOT OF OLD ACQUAINTANCES.
