3G network on Boost is going away so had to buy 5G phones. Amazing how this stuff works. Just shut down a network and all you have left is a paperweight. You do get the latest tech though.  |

Good Morning CGs!
Cooler here than the past couple of days. No more top down weather. Going through that right now with our computer, Tommy. Wanted to install windows 11 but the processor is not new enough. No go. New computer prices are crazy right now. Oh well. Hope everyone has a great day! |

I still miss my flip phone..... had the big work Christmas party last night....the whisky and beer were flowing... roast beef mashed potatoes and gravy and of course .... corn ....
earlier that day at work the Sheriff showed up with a couple of deputies in tow and entered the workshop and arrested a guy that was working where I do..... seems like he left his last place of work in Wisconsin with...... nevermind...... anyway he was packing a weapon and had no conceal carry permit in Nebraska..... so we had to change the locks on the gates where I work.... he is getting a free trip back to Wisconsin I hear....... now we have to find another worker to replace him....which is next to impossible.... My question was how did he get through the background check that everyone is required to to go through? That must be worthless.... have a wonderful weekend Guru's |

Tommy, I have windows 10 and once a week it spends an hour doing an update, then says it failed and takes another hour to revert back. Pia.

I don't know if this will be of any help, but I have Windows 10 machine that did the same thing for about 6 months. I read some place about that happening if you have an external HD attached. I had a Toshiba USB HD plugged in. I unplugged it and it has been updating ever since. The computer is an ACER. It did update with the early versions without any problem.

Thanks for the info. No external hd. The real problem is that computer is circa 2005 and I've been nursing it along for too long.
