As per usual, the job has me occupied throughout otherwise normal human hours of the day.
Over the holidays I made a bit of progress on the never ending project. But, not quite enough, but I press on regardless.
I very much hope everyone is well and prosperous in this new year. I’m currently ready to snooze and a bit bleary eyed, so I haven’t read up on how things are going. I’ll try to catch up later.
Have a great day everyone!

Hey guys, late start for me. Got up to pee @ 7am, and thought "I ought to get going", but went back to bed and went right to sleep again and didn't wake up until almost 9.

Fixed the sound bar for the basement TV...YouTube is great. Did a search and found three videos on how to fix it (common problem) New capacitor (.75) and about an hour to take it apart, unsolder the capacitor, replace with the new one and put it back together.

It's pretty chilly out there, 5 when I got up, but up to 23 now. I have a couple things to do this afternoon.

I agree with you tee. YouTube is great for fix it projects. Step by step with a pro makes some tasks manageable. Or helps you decide to pass it on to a pro.

Good Afternoon CGs!

Another cold day here.

Starting going through the basement closet for some reason yesterday. I pulled out pants that were 10+ years old and worn out. They went in the trash. Why do we hold on to stuff like that? It's good to purge every once in a while.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matt, I have a major purge in my future. lol
Though I'm not a hoarder, more of a collector. I have a ton of project clothes that I can wear for painting projects or other clothes damaging tasks. I told Sue recently "Who do you think your married to?" I have all kinds of things to fix stuff, replace bulbs, batteries, door locks and other home and car related items. When she needs something and I have the fix I tell her again .... "Who do you think your married to?" She laughs.

Matt, went with the grandsons for them to buy some jeans. Most of the stores we went to had what I call "worn out" jeans ... holey and frayed and more expensive than 'new' jeans. Maybe you should have put those "10+ years old and worn out" clothes on marketplace and sold them.
