Ya. Falling iguanas happens every time we get into the mid 40's or below. Being cold blooded they go into torper and plop, they fall out of the trees. You just leave them alone and the sun will warm them up. Next thing you know they are alive and kicking. We have some huge iguanas here. 4+ footers. Cute little devils. lol

I'm batching it today and tomorrow but have several pressing matters to attend to. I have to run an extension cord and set a heat lamp up in Sue's tortoise pen. Tortoises are cold blooded too. They'll retreat into their mobile home (shell) and hide till the temperature improves. Another example of one of the little extras I do for my darling spouse. I always say she lives all her life and part of mine. Honey-do's.

Good Morning CGs!

Cold here, got about an inch of snow overnight.

Had a close call last night. Driving home from work around 12:15 and I saw a DUI driver in front of me. I called 911 for state police and gave them the info. I was keeping my distance and then suddenly the car disappeared in the right lane to pass a semi. Rear ended the semi at 80+ mph and then cut sideways 4 lanes across the freeway into my lane. I was luckily able to stop in time before t-boning the driver's side door. Whole roof of the car was ripped off like a tin can. Had there been a passenger they would have been decapitated. Driver was fine. High as a kite. Had no idea what happened. Always seems to work that way.

Hope everyone has a (safe) great day!

Dadgum Matt ! I’m glad the driver was ok but geesh- that had to have been a sight. Glad you are allright also.
Re the 4-ft reptiles, I bet they are cute. I had a savannnah monitor about that size. My SIL at the time set him loose while I was gone. He’s probably feasting on stray pigs somewhere now. He was a sweetie.
Been a long day here, grocery store, eye doc, gym, hospital. I’m shot , won’t be long I’ll be in bed. Y’all have a good one
