Dodged the freeze bullet here I think. We did have frost on the windsheilds We shall see about freeze damage. Counties north of us have some for sure. Probably will have an impact on orange juice futures and other items I'm sure. Homestead used to be known as the winter breadbasket (before the U.S. started importing everything). Still, farming is a major industry here. Corn, tomoatoes, strawberries and more are impacted by a freeze. Hope everybody has a glorious day. |

CLEAR, CALM, AND COLD IN THE NATIONS, 25 ON THE FRONT PORCH. THEY SAY IT WILL BE 61 TODAY. THE CHEROKEES ARE ALL FOR THAT! THE FORECAST FOR FEBRUARY SOUNDS GODAWFUL. I COULD COME TO HATE FEBRUARY--- DARLING WIFE HAS CAUGHT MY COLD, OF COURSE. HARD NOT TO IN THE SAME HOUSE, BUT SHE DOES NOT SEEM TO BE COUGHING AS MUCH AS I DID. THE WEATHER SOUNDS SO UNSATISFACTORY NEXT WEEK I MAY NOT EVEN BOTHER TO SWITCH CARS, JUST LEAVE THEM ALL ON BATTERY MAINTAINERS. KEEP UP THE FIRE, GURUS! |
