Warm here, first 50* day we've seen in a while. Most of the snow is gone. Should be nice again tomorrow but back to cold on Wednesday.

Got a shop lined up to do some work on the Corvette. Need to talk to the owner on Tuesday of next week. Very reputable speed shop, sounds like he's excited to do the work.

.... so Matt if your are going to a speed shop that must mean you want more speed from your car.... am I correct in assuming dat? I am rather shocked in that your car will already exceed the speed limit by at least 10 to 15 mph.... not sure why you would want to go any faster... it can only lead to trouble.... you may want to save your money for when gas hits 6 to 7 dollars a gallon later this summer....

yep read that today on the internet and the Inet is never wrong.... barrel of oil will be well over 100 bucks and that will be passed along to us.... has not oil been higher than that in the past?

Brandon cannot figure out why gas is so high.... he does not understand that going from energy independence to energy dependence would make a difference at the pump.... the whole bunch of them are big time losers that never worked a day in their F'n lives...... sunsabiches.....

Brandon and his entire crew have a lot to learn, unfortunately it's at our expense.
Took a day to ourselves yesterday, slept in, then got up and hit the road going nowhere except away from here. we are both stressed and need a break. It was a beautiful day too, although windy. Today was warm but still kinda windy and storms rolling in. I am about to have the same weather as Gris. We've had enough of it, we're ready for spring.
Today I got up around 530, tried to go back to bed and back up at 8. Seems to be a pattern lately. Got dressed, went to next town over, hit the gym for about an hour and a half, the grocery store and nursing home. Instantly pissed off when I got there. I have a meeting scheduled for Friday afternoon and I will drag it all out. Am looking into getting her moved however the "good" facility here is full, there's a waiting list. I want to give ppl a chance to right wrongs but shit this is enough. If you have a prayer list please put her and me and Arron on it. His job after 25 years is treating him horrible, he's the senior mekkie there, the only master certified, and only EV certified yet a short timer got put in as shop foreman, which Arron really didn't want, but - the dude hired a coupe of his buddies so all the good jobs are going to them and he's getting crap work and is brining home 20-hour paychecks. They get paid on job hour not hours they're present so it's really hurt us. He's trying to work a deal with his body shop buddy he does a ton of work for anyway into a joint partnership with him. They've come up with a set shop hour rate of which Arron will get 2/3 of and Larry will get 1/3 of, for Larry it'll be just collecting money based off what Arron does and not having to do anything of his own. Seems like a win win for both. I am beyond stressed with all this. I can't stand uncertainty. I'm like Tommy I'm looking for my ass too not because I lost it but rather have ran it clean off it seems like today.

VB - sounds like a great opportunity for you and Arron. He should consider himself lucky he's getting out of a toxic environment and branching out.

Marcus - the plan is a new built trans, converter, trans cooler, torque tube rebuild, supercharger pulley swap, and new tune. Not looking for a lot more power but should pick up 40-50. The trans is twofold - make it bulletproof and make it shift/drive better. Gas prices are in the back of my mind....but I try to leave those thoughts there. It's working so far.
