Grand Imperial Pooh-Bah San Pedro, CA 20859 Posts Member since: 2005/9/7 0:00	A few random thoughts.... * Hotels are never a problem in LA... just don't expect a deal in Long Beach. There are nearby towns that simply won't be aware there is a race. Amazing, but true. * Weather is typically lovely, but we are expecting a heatwave... and that will suck. Friday? 90! Saturday? 75! Tuesday? 65 and rain. Welcome to SoCal. * Traffic sucks, so if you do plan to come, make sure you have ample travel time * BRING YOUR CORVETTE... and plan ahead. I got the last Corral passes, and I bought 2 months ago. However, Corral parking is the BEST. PERIOD. It is very close to the start finish line. When watching aerial shots, look for a big white tent, it's near the start finish line, behind the grandstands and just outside the track, in the marina parking lot. That tent is the corral. You might even see a bunch of Vettes parked there!
