I was just getting told that on FB too. Seems there's a RLSebring that started making these and they are allegedly OEM replacement. Not actual OEM but close as you can get. I read over on Cf in a thread I found where someone said the knockoffs scratch very easy and don't fit well. This original dude tho says his isn't made Cheap Chinese then at the bottom of his sales page it says made in Taiwan...
I need one new headlight for the car, but will look stupid with other faded one. For that $800 cost of one I can spend half that and refresh them both. The rest of it isn't busted.

Is it cloudy on the outside? Maybe a candidate for just headlight restoration? 3M makes a nice kit.

Don't confuse Taiwan with China. Their build quality is leaps and bounds above China.

Matt - I've restored them once already, they're shot. And with the accident one outer lens is broken although the rest of it is fine.

Andy - I did not know that. I figured Taiwan was no different. I went ahead and ordered these, not sure what he was using for the 'sealant' but I will need to get my hands on that too. Corvette Mods showed an option to order that as well, but RLSebring's Ebay site didn't.

The sealant is a butyl material I found it on Amazon.

I’m considering the ones he has that are made in Mexico. They are a little more expensive, but look good.

Go directly to his website and buy them there, doesn’t charge shipping

I didn't see what he used in his video for sealant, nor did I know he had a website.
I have already placed my order on the ebay site and the "set" (both lenses) together is cheaper than what he has here. I got both lenses plus both gaskets, shipping and tax for $313 (Taiwan). Wasn't aware there was a different option
I also had sent a message to him with the "contact seller" button on Ebay but never did hear back, so am wondering if my order has even been processed.
