The weather has cooled off here. It was 44° driving home from work this evening. Still had the top down...yes I'm that guy.

Big weekend for us. It was RR#2's bday on Thursday. He turned 12. So I'm taking him and his BFF on a zipline adventure for his birthday party. Should be fun. And today is RR#1's first homecoming dance at school. She got asked by a boy in the band so we are having all of the kids come to our house first for snacks and pictures. Time flies. It wasn't that long ago that I was posting baby pictures of them sitting in the C4. She's close to driving age now if you can believe that. It's been a wild ride.

Off for a bit on vacation this week and I can use it. Need to time to decompress.

PROPANE FOLKS FINISHED THE FIREPLACE INSTALL IN ABOUT AN HOUR AND A HALF. I DON'T LIKE THE LOOKS VERY MUCH, BUT IT WILL WARM THE BACK OF THE HOUSE AND SUPPLEMENT THE FIREPLACE IF THE LIGHTS GO OUT. THE APPRENTICE IS NOT HAVING MUCH LUCK WITH HARVEY. THESE INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS ARE A REAL PIA!

We've been having wonderful mornings and evening in the 70's. mid to uppper 80's mid day so you can break a sweat. Sue is up at the ER. I didn't go with her. No doubt there will be some testing involved. She fell the other day and hit her lower back and rib cage. She's been hurting. Another added issue sent her to the ER as a precaution. Better safe than sorry. I'm trying to get some work done. So much to do, so little time.

....all the best wishes to Sue for quick healing....she has to be careful....hell we all need to be careful these days....we don't heal up as fast as we once did....

Hey guys, Huge cross country meet. 22 schools 445 runners in 5 races. Leo ran a PB (personal best) but still did not finish in the top 20.

Helped clean up and got home in time to go to church. After church we had a small birthday party for Leo, he turns 18 on Monday.

I'm tired and headed to bed.

Oh, yea Matt, time flies by pretty fast. Take advantage of the time you have with the kids.
