Well we elected a Republican Gov........ and S. Dak reelected Kristi Noem as Gov...... I would vote for her for President...she is great.... rides a Harley....

I am not commenting on political issues. I find my moderate position only pisses people off and sets off an argument no one wins.

We are all dried up here in SoCal... It has been raining off and on for the last two days. Rain we desperately needed! Got a lot of snow in the Mountains, state wide. Exciting.

Good afternoon - getting things done around here, one van ready for print and that large trailer should be by end of day, he's coming in at 3.
thanks everyone for the compliments on the Rover. I chose that one as it is something I expect to last me for years. It doesn't ride quite like the autobiography model as this one is the sporty-sport one. It actually handles and feels a looot like my Corvette, which is what I was after and it's smaller, another plus. No body roll. I took a round about last night and it outdid the car in my opinion.
We still dont' have a new mayor, there's a run-off but at least the old one is out - I'll call that a win. Also I was dismayed about the legal rec weed thing failing. Arkansas is the most backwards state. I might not like beer but I won't try to force anyone else of legal age from having it. We have medicinal weed here - tons of it, so why not and gain revenue? We also are the soppiest, wettest DRY county around. Go figure. Booze in every restaurant plus bars but can't just go buy it. Makes zero sense.

My good friend Mike had a heart attack yesterday. He's in the hospital and going for open heart surgery tomorrow morning. He had a heart attack 23 years ago too. If he's lucky they can fix him up and he'll be good for another 23 years.


No hurricane here. It's 150 miles north of us so we're getting some of the outside band crap. Wind and rain.

Hey guys, up normal time and off to see the chiropractor. Back to the shop to finish prepping the newel posts I made for the church in the next town over to the west. Then with it being Wednesday, lunch with the 'old folks' at the Senior Center.

After lunch Rosie and I loaded up tools and newel posts and hand rails and headed west to install those parts. Just as a point of reference, we drove all the way over to where we were in the Mountain Time zone (just 14 miles to the west). My phone kicked over to MT and I thought I was working way faster than I was. When I realized this I was just finishing up and remembered that I had a meeting just 30 minutes. So I didn't even have time to change out of my work clothes.

Weather was warm today, 70, but the wind was blowing 30-40mph with gusts to 60. Tomorrow, the bottom started to drop out and by Saturday morning, it going to be mid teens with highs in the low 40s.

I'm tired and ready to hit the sack.
