SUNNY, 71 ON THE FRONT PORCH, PREDICTED HIGH OF 90. HAD A BRIEF SHOWER YESTERDAY AFTERNOON, JUST ENOUGH TO MAKE THING WET. WE SEEM TO BE STUCK IN A PATTERN OF AFTERNOON THUNDER SHOWERS.

GOT SOME ERRANDS TO RUN TODAY, EAST AND WEST: MUSKOGEE AND TAHLEQUAH. I'LL TRY TO BEAT THE RAIN :-)

DOG IS FED, I AM NOT; SOMETHING WRONG WITH THAT SEQUENCE.

ALWAYS FORWARD GURUS.

Film footage of the invasion has always triggered a heartfelt response from me. They don't make many men or supporting women like that anymore. The greatest generation.

Good morning, pretty here again but we do need rain. Had some pop up showers yesterday but nothing that helped any. Farmers are fussing too.
Got home and did 4 loads of clothes, washed dishes, made supper and even got my nails done. worn out when I went to bed. Up early for dental exam this morning before work. have to go back to nail place, lady messed up something and all the topcoat cracked and is peeling. Good thing she dont work on cars.
Hats off to the soldiers. Read somewhere that there are less than 3,000 of those still living today.

The money is back in the account. A lawyer was ready to strike. No need now. The money had to be restored by yesterday or legal action was to follow. A financial reallignment is still in order. We have a realtor on deck to work on the nursery sale. AT&T will be eliminated from my monthly budget. We pretty much only have 5 bills a month. Electric, insurance, home phone and internet, cellphone and a credit card bill that's a catch all. Sue is looking forward to semi retirement. She will still be selling bird and butterfly plants from the small nursery at the house. I'll have to find ways to avoid direct interaction.

I'm also starting on my barrage of medical appointments. Every decade or so I like to have everything checked out. I have a coule of medical issues I have not addressed. Not a big fan of going to the doctor. Time to take a closer look. Tomorrow the dental surgeon is going to take off the gum over the implant base and get ready for the temporary tooth implant. 6 months ago I started this. On TV I see adds for "Teeth in a day." all the time. Well the temps I guess count as teeth.

Hey guys, been really busy. Leo and I got a lot done yesterday. Today, he got stuff done, me, not so much. Like a couple others here, I got to go see the dentist today, just a cleaning and check for me, Rosie and her bad teeth get to go back Thursday for additional work.

Nearly 80 years since that fateful day. Fewer and fewer of those brave men are still with us.
