That's a helluva sleeper, especially on a vert. I love the hood, subtle, but interesting. Is it functional?

That sumbitch is wicked! What all's been done to it to get to that power level?
Did you keep your C4 too? Of course you know that you should not be consorting with us low-life, trailer trash, mullet-wearin' C4 types anymore, right?
I'll bet that mofo is a rocket to drive. I want an LS engine to play with so bad. Fortunately we just scored one at the shop earlier this week. Tentative plans are to stick it in a '63 Rambler American using mostly stuff that's already on hand. We paid $20 for the engine, a rebuildable core. The Rambler is a straight and nearly rust-free car for $300. We're thinking a mid to low 10 second car for 3 to 4K bucks. Before I worked there, my shop had a car on Pinks All Out. My boss is thinking of a return engagement with the Rambler.
LS engines are so responsive to simple, bolt on mods. I'm betting the bottom end in yours may very well still be stock. They're very durable as they are and unless you go really nuts with power and/or spray, they'll hold up extremely well. I look forward to hearing the details of your combo. Very nice and bad-ass car. Congrats!

I'll never sell the C4, bought it new ~14 years ago. It's become a part of me.

The C5 has a Lingenfelter Performance Engineering (LPE) Twin Turbo 650 hp package. It is the most docile standard shift car I have ever owned. But, when you hit the accellerator, WATCH OUT!!!

Oh, not much stock internally, it is fully forged and was told turning the boost up and running race fuel would produce ~750 bhp. But for now 650 bhp is taking a little getting use to.

Thanks for all the kind words guys!!!

Well that makes sense then. With the boost, forged internals are critical, IMO. Methinks LPE pretty much knows what they're doing! :thumbleft: You could easily up the boost and spray that thing to 1000 HP with no problems if you wanted to, and still be relatively safe.
I especially like the looks of your new baby with the black cloth top and those dark, tinted windows. And not that it doesn't look sweet as it is, but with that foreboding "black" look in mind, I think a set of black ZO6 replicas with polished rims would look killer too and really set off it's well deserved bad-ass look.
