Hey guys, been busy the last few. Trying to get a bunch of stuff done to take to KC. Headed that way on Tuesday morning.

Been pretty hot here. 104 yesterday, 106 today. Luckily, the humidity has been closer to normal.. read that lower.

War and other unfinished business. Unless you cut off the head of the serpent and kill any surviving offspring the battle for control will just give the offenders a chance to repopulate. War appears to be part of human or (inhuman) nature. That's why we need Superman to fight for truth, justice and the American way.

Went to a celebration of life for a friend and customer of the business yesterday. Also A relative of Sue's family passed away Saturday night after a long battle with illness. One by one the oldtimers a going to the other side. The family member's husband is also very ill and will succumb to his infirmities at some point in the future. Me? I'm living one day at a time.

Saturday night the casino gods once again smiled down on me with a $1501.00 hand pay that I must pay taxes on. Anything over $1200 earns you a statement for the IRS. Sue lost some but I picked up more than enough to cover. As long as the gambling wallet stays fat we play on their money. Actually we've won enough to play a few years on their money. The way to play is controlled gambling. Set aside an amount tto play and stick to it. Win some and lose some. Even is always considerd a win. Do not use a casino ATM, ever.

Good Afternoon CGs!

We have a bit of a warm spell moving through. A mini heat wave. About 90 now.

Tommy, feel free to pass that luck around.

I started a diet this week. No beer, calorie restrictions, and lots of running. Self imposed. I's making me a bit crabby but better in the long run, right? That's what I keep telling myself.

Hope everyone has a great day!
