Morning guys....

We are up and around, ready to head west. Been a pretty good week here in KC. Got lots done helping Jenni get settled into her new house. Brought up her new table and chairs, put her, now modified, footboard back on her bed frame, finished up the shower in the basement, so it's more usable, put in a new window AC unit in her upstairs bedroom, fixed up the grilling area, installed a new OTR microwave, fixed curtain rods, repaired front door, arranged the garage some, helped mow & trim and put together shelving units in the basement so she can put long term items away.

I'm ready to go home and take a break. I do have projects to do at home, but nothing that is earth-shattering.

We visit the holistic Dr. on Tuesday and have my monthly massage Wednesday as well as my first Knights of Columbus meeting that evening. So a busy week coming up.

Leo had his first cross country meet Friday, he improved his time by over a minute from the same meet last year. Not sure where he goes this week, but hopefully the improvements will continue.

Well, Jenni is up, we need to say our good-byes and hit the road.

I'm feeling lazy today.... but need to workout and then get the trimmer out a knock back some unruly bushes around here... Doc going up to see her Mom today so leaves me hanging around.... not wearing a frown....

onward and upward Guru's

Rainy day here, we needed it. Supposed to do some more later. Yesterday, it was supposed to rain all day so we planned to get out and run around. Sun was out and hot all day, perfect pool day we missed it. Today we had planned the pool day and of course it rained. Tomorrow is hopeful, then we cool off a bit. I hate it, I want it to stay summer forever. Fall is nuts cause it's still hot but pool water is too cold to enjoy. We've just sat around all day, I could have cleaned house but haven't touched a thing. He is changing oil in the Rover but that's been it for us.
