Great day in the morning .....

The question is not if but when World War III will begin. With all the new fangled weaponry it should get interesting real fast. Survivalists just might be on to something. Especially with cyber warfare, the ability to shut down the current GPS navigation systems, close down assorted networks and power grids. The threat of tactical nuclear weapons remains clear. The deep patriotic fervor of our youth will have to step up and save the day. ...... Boy, are we in trouble ..... Let's see. Flashlights, check. Canned goods, check. Generators, check. Guns and ammo, check. Batteries, check. How will everyone react when all is quiet? You will be able to feel the fear in the air. Oddly, it puts me in the mood foe some coffee and doughnuts.

I am always in the mood for C and D's..... hell, we are still using stuff out our our Y2K cabinet.... Doc being the survivalist of the family... I know that outfits like Patriot Foods is doing a brisk business with their survival food kits.... we have been thinking about the one month package.... and it keeps for 25 years.... and is delicious... one thing for sure is we will all be a lot thinner...

Amen, pray for peace. Every time I open my phone or computer I see more stuff that stresses me out. Why can't we go back to the 70s when folks seemed happier and more at ease? Or 80s? Maybe I was just a kid and missed the hard stuff just seemed life was easier and your money went farther.
Rather be at home than at work, it's such a nice cool day out side. I do not really care for fall except it's cool when I want to sit out for coffee in the mornings. It's still hot like summer but the evenings are cool which makes my pool water too cold to be in. Seems like summer was just getting started and it's over. Construction noises next door today will drive me nuts. The IT place sold out, they're gone and the coffee dude on the other side bought our building, he's gonna make those the corporate offices for his coffee stores. Maybe he'll redo ours next. Till then I need headphones.

DALLAS TRIP DONE. DROVE TO OKMULGEE, GOT BIG DAUGHTER AND HER FORERUNNER, SHE DROVE TO OKC WHERE WE GOT BABY DAUGHTER AND #8 GRANDSON, BABY D DROVE OKC TO DALLAS. BIG D IS A RATHER CAUTIOUS DRIVER, BABY D DRIVES A LOT LIKE ME. WE'D HAVE BEEN THERE QUICKER BUT PEOPLE KEPT GETTING IN HER WAY :-)
