Stuff keeps breaking. Maybe due to a power outage. The garage door opener no worky. Had some rain and gusty winds last night. Big thunder and lightning show too. Poor Panhandle is gonna get slammed big time. Going to work on the office shed A/C replacement and head out this afternoon for a dental cleaning appointment. Be well gurus.

Vote for Trump... this is a bandwagon I cannot get on board with. I don't speak much politics online, for any number of reasons... but Trump is becoming a dangerous man. If he keeps half the promises he is making, and enacts Project 2025, the US will rival North Korea or the Taliban for being backwards. Those policies would suck us back to 1920... or worse.

Is Harris the perfect candidate? Hell no. There hasn't ever been a perfect candidate. They all have strengths and weaknesses. In general, I do like her message, but some of her policies do exceed my centrist approach to things. At the same time, her policies must be approved, same with Trump... it's just that Trump is a really poor diplomat and that worries me on a global scale.

Yes, things ARE more expensive, but the interesting reality is that inflation is down. But I think that some companies are using it as an excuse to raise prices. I will be curious when earnings are reported.

And the IRS is not going away, neither is the Social Security or Medicare... these programs are so vital to the way our people live now. Their loss would crash our economy. I cannot image how it would go... Think of all the boomers hitting retirement age? Ouch. Tommy would be in deep trouble, if not for the nursery business.

IRS? Well, it could be simplified, but the system is a check/balance of things... it's how the FBI burned Al Capone!!!

The bottom line is this: Modern life IS complicated. Government and economies are complicated. As time has progressed and populations grow, everything becomes exponentially more complicated. As these things become more complicated, they take on a life of their own and become so complex that they are no longer understood by the general population. This is sad, because it means something is failing us... our educational system isn't teaching it or our population doesn't give a big enough shit to actually pay attention to it. I think the truth lies somewhere in the middle.

All I do ask is for people to vote. That vote matters... and it gives you the right to bitch when things fall apart. Apathy isn't the answer.

So, you admit that he is a danger then.

My non vote for either candidate puts me solidly in the none of the above categories. I will vote for other candidates in their respective positions and proposed amendments to the Florida Constitution. Let the Presidential chips fall where they may.

I plan to write in Redd Foxx for president.
Honestly I find things I like in both, and just as much I despise. As a woman, some of the republican's stuff bothers me, but at the same time, some of the dems started it. I don't like illegals coming over here like cockroaches, nor do I like our veterans being homeless. The dems have had 4 years to fix stuff and they haven't, as they're all in it for money from their respective special interest groups. Money is the driving force. Trump can't be bought so that's what I like there but some of the other stuff I'm not a fan of. And, I don't like the way Harris got what 2% of the nominations the first time, and this time they're stuck with her so they polished her up to look better and advertised the shit out of her, marketing 101. And of course google and others help by throttling her stuff to the top, one sided media is nuts. I miss the days when it wasn't like this. Never will happen again.
Work was slow today, I'm good with that, one guy I can't get hold of I need to finish his. We should have been at the Cape this week but Arron wouldn't get off his hind end and confirm, glad we will be home. I see that it moved a bit east but it's still gonna be a 'generational storm' from what I've read. Inland as far as Appalachian mountains, winds out as far as 250 miles from center, 20ft surges. One group I'm in there's a couple of folks that refused to evacuate, they were told to write their name on their arm so they could be identified.

...yeah...I'm like how is Trump a danger? to who? maybe our enemy's .... for sure to socialists... we had the best economy since forever when he was in the White House...everyone was working, the border was under some kind of control... inflation was 3% or less..... we were self sustaining in oil production....so how is that not a good thing? I'm at a loss to comprehend it.... I don't care if you don't like him...it is not a popularity contest...it is what is best for America and and Harris and Walz are a not what America needs right now..... So if Trump is the lesser of 2 evils go with that. What have either of them done anywhere? other than make a mess of things....

As I said in an earlier post Biden and Harris have brought this great Nation to the brink of financial ruin. The Government and the Fed are dead broke.... I challenge either side of the aisle to cut the Government in half... and voting for nobody is voting for those who want to keep the middle class, the strength of America down and out of the picture...... WTH?
