Kids had a band competition last night. They played well and took second in their division so they were happy. The school that won first always puts on a good show, tough competitors.

A little chilly today but enjoyable.

the weather be perfect here in corn county..... I finally got the lawn fertilized and watered in..... makes me tired...but I plan on still making the application when I'm 90..... or I may just pick up the phone and have someone do it for me.... yeah thats a better idea....

as I stated earlier the lawn service was one of the first thing to go with the crushing inflation.... you got to save yourselves.... you know damn well the government is not going to.....

Good afternoon, been a dreary couple days here, hurricane remnants - Friday it rained from late the night before to after we went to bed. yesterday was gloomy, so is today, stifles my mood to do anything although I had tons of projects and junk planned since I knew I'd be around the house. I was out in the rain running errands and gym all day Friday, got home around 7. I guess sometimes the Good Lord just entices you to rest a day or two. I hate to nap this late but might. Got the ghetto blow up hot tub draining and cleaning it, found a 2/3 of a half gallon of wine in the fridge so my night might have gotten planned by accident. we didn't even cook breakfast today like normal. He finally used that tire machine he bought, fixed the LTPS light on his truck, and then swapped out a bike tire that was threadbare. Said if he only used that machine one time it was worth it to him. I'm the type that "couldn't you just gone to Harbor Freight and used a 20% coupon?" He prefers Snapon. Men...

I'm the same way VB. I prefer Snap-on over most. He's got more than me with it being his actual job but I'm bordering around 100k retail price worth with my box and everything. It's a bit of an addiction. At least it makes him money.
