CLEAR, CALM, AND COLD: 41 AT TAHLEQUAH, 35 ON THE FRONT PORCH. THIS IS NOT AT ALL SATISFACTORY FOR MID OCTOBER.

GOT SEVERAL LITTLE THINGS TO DO AROUND HERE BUT THEY ALL REQUIRE FINE FINGER DEXTERITY. FRUSTRATING!

GOOD LUCK WITH THE MEDICAL ESTABLISHMENT TOMMY & SUE.

LETTY, COTTON HARVEST HAS REALLY CHANGED. AS A LITTLE BOY I REMEMBER MY GRANDDAD AND NEIGHBORS GOING FROM ROCKWALL COUNTY OVER TO EAST TEXAS TO HIRE COTTON PICKERS. BY THE TIME I WAS IN SCHOOL THEY WERE PULLING BOLES RATHER THAN PICKING. MOST OF THE COUNTRY KIDS AND SOME TOWNIES DEPENDED ON IT TO PAY FOR SCHOOL SUPPLIES FOR FALL. THE LOCAL SADDLE SHOP MADE LEATHER KNEE PADS. YOU COULD SHUFFLE ALONG ON YOUR KNEES OR PICK BENT OVER. MOST DID THE KNEE THING.

END OF HISTORY LESSON :-)

....hmmmmm..... picking cotton.... when those cotton balls get rotten you can't pick very much cotton..... that reminds me of a song....

Had the Heat Pump guys out and the electricians to work on the various things that are not working right.... parts are ordered.... High fire danger today with very dry conditions and strong winds..... I should start watering the roof..... so it doesn't catch fire when the fields are burning around us...... hey it's tough living out here......

Voting day coming up.... America on the Brink..... can we save her? I hope so.....the fact that it is even a question is a mystery to me... who thinks this is ok?

keep moving around Guru's

Marcus, I must have leather skin. That 5% cream is like using Noxzema to me. Maybe I should try the new one I just picked up. This other cream the doc is giving me will probably do as you mention. He wants to show me how to apply it. I think you have to wear welding gloves when you put it on.

Lots going on but what else is new. I can't move fast enough to get all the $#!+ done I need to do.

I was just glad I didn't spread it all over my face or I would have been housebound for 10 days or so..... I could wear a cap to cover the forehead.... but would have had to wear a covid mask to cover my face..... I have a fairly light skin with my DNA being northern European primarily and only a small % Neanderthal

Good evening, gris yes chopping cotton for us kids and picking for our parents in 40s and 50s. my friends made good cash chopping, I tried mom refused to allow it telling me she HAD to do it as a kid and she wont' let me. Pissed me off I wanted new jeans and cassette tapes like my friends had. All the harvesting junk here has so much smoke in the air it's nuts, allergies flared up still, if I didn't already have bronchitis I would get it again.
Got a cybertruck to wrap at the office, I was hoping they'd let me use just their normal background and stuff off their vans but noooo this has to be co-op so all kinds of other crap on there now I hate it. It was cool before I had to put all that mess on it. You ever do a job and in order to please your client you have to do it a way that you'd rather not and it looks worse enough that you don't even want your name on it? that's this one. On the other hand, we have another over there that just got tinted paint protection film and black out tint and it's hot. The truck is still weird but this is how it should have came if you ask me, PPF is a dark pewter, looks almost black at an angle. Just got home from my cousin's , Chilils of Jonesboro fixed plates of food for the family for Jordan, per the request of Chilis in Pensacola. Very very nice of them, I cried when I picked it up.
