Good morning Gris,
We're way overdue for rain too, ALL my stuff is dying. I've watered but not nearly enough. I asked Arron to water out front the other day he washed both vehicles and of course, he didn't water so now they're all way worse. I've GOT to get a sprinkler system in the yard. Have a mole that has literally uprooted my ENTIRE back yard too, nothing is working. I probably won't have grass for shit back there next spring.
Another day another dollar at the office, folks aren't replying to me so they can just be mad when I"m out on vaca week after next.

Well Gris, I may be drinking to forget later today.

Went to take the mustang to my mom's house and when I got halfway there the trans blew up. Grenaded what I believe is 2nd gear internally. Case is still intact and I was able to limp home. It had been whining for a while but was shifting great and no other noises so I thought it would be ok. Nope.

The camaro has a weird intermittent vibration. My buddy felt it the other day when we were driving and we both figured it was u-joints. Checked those today and they are good. So it's maybe wheel bearings which I already bought or could even be the rear end. Great.

Also got rear ended in the Corvette a couple of days ago at a red light. Guy in a tesla. It was maybe 2 mph. No damage other than a scratch the size of a pencil tip. I got lucky. I don't want to go through that and I don't want it on my car fax.

So that's my week. F me, right?

my C6 had a steady small vibration that would fade then come back fade then come back while at highway speed.... never was bad enough to try and hunt it down but it was there...

speaking of vibrations I have been chasing a vibration in the Dodge since day one.... it is bad enough to do something about..... put it up on a rack and really went over everything underneath.... the guy looking with me found a torque brace on the left side of the engine that was keeping the engine from moving normally and directly transmitting all that vibration to the frame..... we took that out and I also found out the Hurst shifter was ready to fall off so tightened that up and its like a new car..... takes time to fix all the screw ups the guy that had it before me did...

torque has to be set free..... free the torques....
