Happy VD day ~
blistering cold here, overcast. Gonna be single digits in a couple days. SO over it! Where is spring? Almost time to go home, all the stuff I had planned for work today kinda fizzled out, oh well, extra money anyway. I sort of got myself some valentines last night - went to 5-Below and Dollar Tree, come to find out they have dupes of my Olay face cream, the other mid range one I like, plus the eye wrinkle pen things, and all sorts of perfumes, full size knockoffs for $5. I got a whole bag of stuff for about $30. That mess would have cost me upwards of 500 otherwise. I will be going back for sure, and one of these perfumes is my new favorite so I'll definitely get a spare of that. On the Olay knockoffs and stuff I should've bought the whole box of all of them, only $1.25 each. Arron got me an itty bitty pink snapon toolbox. I got on their website to see what else they had to go with it and that thing was $125. I bout had a danged stroke. For that price he shouldve just handed me the cash |

Hey guys, beautiful day temperature wise today. 65 this afternoon, but the wind was howling, so not so much enjoyable. A real drop in temps tomorrow, highs in the low 30s and lows on Tuesday morning in the negative numbers...crazy weather.
I put a rack of ribs on about 1pm for supper tonight. Worked in the shop assembling cabinets today. Rosie, #2 and GD went over to the 'city' to pick up some stuff, so I headed up to the flower shop to pick up a bouquet to surprise her when she got home. |
