And the months pass by.

Looks to be a comfortable temp trend coming my way. I'll take it. Have to enjoy it now because I know the hot and humid days of summer will have me wishing I had what I'll have now. Sue has a booth at the Seafood Fest in Homestead this weekend. Yup. Plants at a seafood fest. Garners lots of Homestead residents that learn about the nursery and generates local revenue. Nothing wrong with a little revenue generation. The nursery is still up for sale but as I've mentioned before Sue is not giving it away. It is very reasonably priced for the right buyer. Lots of customers complain that the nursery is not always opened and is by appointment. Sue does landscapes too. People also complain she is not opened on Sunday.They don't understand she does two opertions out of the nursery. Sales and installations. If she could find qualified people who want to work she would be opened throughout the week. That hardly ever happens. She has to train people and that takes time. Many hires don't last long. The work is hard and hot. Many can't put down the phone. They get caught all the time. Some don't accomplish much. Some want cash. Nope. You want to work you go on the books and have to have proper documentation. One day the nursery will sell. We still have a small nursery at the house so Sue plans to slow down but not totally retire. She enjoys making money, like some of the older folks around here. Although with our current situation we should be trying to figure out ways to die broke.

I HAVE VERY MIXED FEELINGS ABOUT THE WETBACKS, ALL THEY WANT IS A CHANCE FOR A BETTER LIFE. THE PROBLEM IS THEY PLUG INTO THE WELFARE SYSTEM. THE FACT THAT THEY PAY NO FEDERAL TAX IS MEANINGLESS, NEITHER DO THE NATIVE WELFARE DRONES.
EXCLUSION FROM THE FEDERAL TEAT WOULD BE BETTER THAN DEPORTATION.

Good morning, very nice out today, drove the Vette again, boxing after work then home, nothing fancy. I have a ton of work but am not working all day tomorrow. It will be nice out and I will be petty and work in the morning then play hookie the afternoon till 4 when I have an appointment with a trainer. It will be winter again this weekend and I want to get some good out of the week of summer this week somehow. Figures it's always nice when I'm at work and it's bad when I'm off.
Gris hope you're ok after the fall, I had one recently too. I wore the wrong shoes in boxing practice and tried to slide sideways and fell into everybody. Of course at my age they all scrambled to help which was nice but we all had a good laugh when they saw I was okay. I've got a pull up banner to do, a 40-ft bus, a pickup and who knows what else, yall have a good one

..the phone won't stop ringing.... I think that is a good thing... perfect weather and the monster Ag is starting to rise..... more at 11.....
