...well we bought a dog from Oklahoma... will be able to pick him up the end of March... its for my son actually but I have an idea he will spend time here in the country. He's a smooth coat Doxie who will be named Bubba... I thought it fit....
seems OK is a hotbed of Dachshund puppy mills.... inflation must have hit the dog market some of the prices are so much...Bubba was on the lower end of the price scale... but he's only blind in one I and gets around fine on 3 legs...  warm sunny and I am loving it.... bring it on Guru's |

That's the best kind of dog. Brave, loyal and happy.
Went to breakfast this morning then helped Sue load the truck for the Seafood Fest. Glad that's over with. She has no idea how painful that $#!+ is for me. Or if she knows she doesn't really care. Another elementary school classmate of mine has passed away. I was always an average student so when it comes to lifespan it looks like I'll fall somewhere in the middle ending up with an average lifespan. I don't dwell on it but I know my days are numbered. Not really a big fan of spending any of that time loading trucks. Oh well. In all seriousness. If I were to die while Sue is away nobody would find me. If Sue and I were to die together in a car wreck, the animals would just go hungry. The Gene Hackman story comes to mind. Or the mummified remains stories. That could be me one day. Hey guys, been pretty nice here the last couple of days. Hung a bathroom cabinet yesterday and worked another vanity all day today. Picked up a couple more jobs yesterday and today. I thought things would slow down some this year, but, it doesn't appear to be the case.
