Good morning.
Odd cycle of $#!+ just not going right. Past events have shown me you just have to weather the storms. Even got a strange message for my post submission this morning. Moon phase? Planet alignment? The will of God? Just keep moving forward and hope I'm not smited.

The installation of the garbage disposal went fairly well. The disposal unit was lighter than I thought. The electric was straight forward and with a little wrangling I got the plumbing to line up. No leaks. It's a plywood cabinet so no leak damage. My internet was out most of yesterday and through the night. Got it back this morning. No Netflix last night so I ended watching John Wayne moviies on GRIT.

Those old post make me kinda sad....thinking of the friends we have lost along the way...... I was 60 back then and wish I were again..... What a long strange journey this is....

Morning guys... Been AWOL. Survived the big Blow Tuesday. Had 8 trucks and vehicles blown over, or off the road in an 8 mile stretch east Had wind gusts to 90mph. And had many accidents due to blowing dirt/dust.

Wednesday was a beautiful day low 60s and almost no wind. Went for a walk and a bike ride. Had SIL/hubby stop to see us in the afternoon as their GS was on the B-ball team playing our hometown in a Sub-State playoff game. They had to come from 3 hours away...nearly halfway across the state. We beat them by 34 points. Running clock in the 4th quarter. Long way to come to get your ass kicked that bad. We had Ash Wednesday services at 6:30 then I had a KofC meeting after, didn't get home until 10pm.

Yesterday had eye appointments, cataracts getting worse but still not quite to the point where Medicare will pay to have them removed. Looked at a kitchen for remodel while over in the 'city'. Big DIYers, so did a little design for them and offered to supply materials and they can put the cabinets together themselves and install them themselves...we'll see how it turns out.

Today, I'm helping a friend install some Onyx shower bases. I've done probably 10 of these. Super quality, but heavy as all get out. But because I've done quite a few he asked me to help.

Plumbing Tommy? I don't know if I ever told you guys, but, I HATE F*#KING PLUMBING.

OH, today it's sunny and breezy, highs supposed to be in the mid 50s.

15 years of chats. Hard to believe. Especially since you guys keep getting older and I don't.

Big snow flakes falling right now. Ground is pretty wet so probably won't stick or accumulate. We'll see how the roads are later.

Gloomy today, was supposed to be sunny and 60, I had put gas in the car to drive it again today but they hollered rain so left it parked. Now I'm in the SUV and it's flat out of gas. The station will be the first place I go when I leave here.
Got a van proof sent out, the college can't make up their minds on a background, was hoping for an approval on that already, nobody else is answering their emails or phone calls. It will be ugly here all weekend but of course next week will be 70s and sunny, followed by crap again next weekend and so forth. I think I'm gonna switch my schedule to work weekends then be off tues/wed or something like that. About to tell somebody I won't be here Tuesday it will be 74 and sunny and I can get junk outside done.

Letty, let a word to the wise be sufficient. 1/4 tank hash mark means you need to get gas. . No running out of gas for me if I can help it. I hate that feeling. Marcus getting older can be a good thing. I'm knock, knock, knocking on 70's door.

Sue is in Seville today. Went to a Spanish Galleon, perhaps a replica, and they went onboard. Maybe they will see a barber shop there.

I did see this.... that men my age in their mid 70's should be able to do 10 pushups...... I can drop and give 20 without a lot of trouble..... Women in their 60's should be able to do 10 also.... I know VB is younger then that..... can you do 15 pushups Letty?
