VB, no matter where you live weather will find you. You have to pick your poison. I chose hurricanes. Sorry for the mess you have to deal with.



Went to the casino Saturday night and while I was there I started getting chills. Told Sue I was going to sit in the car and she mercifully said "We'll just go home." Got home and checked my temp and I had low grade fever and felt like crap. Had a chill through most of the night. Sunday morning Sue looked at my left leg and she said "That doesn't look good." Reluctantly Sunday afternoon I went to a local urgent care center where they dignosed me with cellulitis. Gave me a shot in the ass and prescribed antibiotics. Told me if it doesn't improve after a couple of days I have to go to the E.R. There they will probably want to keep me for a few days on i.v. antibiotics. My fever is down and I'm doing the best I can to stay out of the hospital. Hoping the oral meds work. But I will do whatever needs to be done. Infections can kill you. They have been my nemesis. Keeping the leg up and resting is the order of the day. Wishing everybody a pleasant day.

Work in the bathroom slowly marches on. I did the first color coat on the cabinet doors and cabinet frames. We'll see how smooth it dries because I'm using a foam roller instead of spraying. At the end of the day it's a bathroom facelift and not a professional job so I'm kind of over it already.

Looked at the main page and after seeing the C1 I thought what ever happened to Andy's friend Wes?

There's a YouTube video of the Collins guy rescuing a 454 C3 from a barn in Texas. I only got a few minutes in but I'd like to watch the rest later.

I had to look up what that was Tommy..... Look online for a product called Emuaid... supposed to make you all better along with the antibacterial meds you are taking..... hope you feel better soon.....

Went in to have lunch with my daughter and see her new office and meet her coworkers..... very nice set up. They do big wiring projects for Hospitals and put in Jumbotrons in stadiums and large fire alarm projects.... all commercial stuff..... She is the HR lead there..... she likes it.... she has a desk that you can stand at or the desk lowers so you can sit at it..... she also has a small treadmill she walks on while she is working while at her desk.... it's a new age Guru's......

Some damage here, pool house flooded, pool pump quit from being submerged, shop full of water, others have it way worse. 10 tornadoes over the weekend, catastrophic flooding, 15in of rain everywhere, it's just nuts .
Uman I need your daughter's set up. I've already looked at a walking pad. My desk is more like what you'd find in a banker's office, tall credenza behind me, heavy wood desk etc, totally not suited for what I do. I need a standing desk. Sitting is horrible for your hips and low back, posture and will lead to gluteal atrophy and such.

A FROSTY MORNING TURNED INTO A PRETTY DAY. MET WITH BROKER; BOUGHT SOME STOCK WHILE IT WAS DOWN, APPLE, AMAZON, LOCKHEED-MARTIN. HAD A CD THAT PAID OUT.
