Sorry to start off with such a sad post.


We are both sad angry at the same time. Yesterday we said good-bye to Snoopy. He was drug under our back fence and mauled to death by our neighbor's bull dog. This same dog had previously injured both Schatzie and Buddy with fence line attacks. We called Miami Dade sherriffs department who contacted animal services. Snoopy was such a kind and loving dog we rescued almost 8 years ago. Taken from us way too soon as a result of an irresponsible dog owner. We love you Snoopy and will miss you dearly.

morninng guys... Tommy, that absolutely SUCKS. I'm not sure what they can do legally, but I hope you get closure.

Cool, cloudy and dampish this morning. Maybe a chance for some moisture they say.

Rosie is off to the 'city' to pick up some things for this weekend. We leave for KC Friday morning. A few small jobs to do Friday through Sunday. Then Monday morning get up and head south to Fayetteville, Arkansas to attend GD's Masters thesis review/show. Then load up some bigger things we are moving back to KC for her and driving back to KC in time for my appointment with the neurosurgeon in the afternoon. Then depending on how tired we are, maybe head back home afterwards. Might wait until Wednesday morning.

Tom, I hope to get their dog listed as a vicious dog. Seeing that he attacked my dogs 3 times and my neghbor on the other side also had issues. I believe he had to put one of his dogs down because of it. We were thinking of suing the neighbor for not maintaining the fence line on their side creating the dangerous situation. Can't sue for the loss of the animal. Only can recover a dogs value if it was a papered purebread. I'm starting on my affidavit to animal control in a few minutes. Setting the documentation train in motion. I would hope they confiscate the animal and euthanize it. That would make us happy. If nothing else if there are anymore incidents there is a paper trail. I finished patching the fence line so our only surviving dog shouldn't get into any trouble. I finished two affidavits, made photos and supporting vet bills for one previous event. Tomorrow I'll get them notorized and send them off. In 95 days or so I should know something. Some have said you have to be careful starting problems with your neighbor. The way I see it THEY started the problem. Onward.

..so what does the jerk neighbor say or do about the fact that his dog was on your property killing your dog..... WTF..... is he some cartel sonovabich.... if he is turn him in to ICE if not shoot his dog as soon as you can.... you are showing proper restraint but that dog has to go down.....

funeral is over and back home will take tomorrow off to recuperate..... big doings.......
