And just like that, another week has slipped by. Can't believe it's May already. We've had rain the last few days but that didn't stop me from getting out there and scrubbing the mildew off the siding. The spray bottle says no scrubbing required....sure, sure.

Tommy, really sorry to hear about the pup. Hopefully animal control can handle it but sometimes the desire to do something yourself is just overwhelming.

Letty, that JD looks like a hoot to drive. I'd give it a shot. What's a million of debt?

Well after a high church funeral Grandma Lucy has run the race and kept the faith.... thank you for your thoughts and prayers... all the grandkids and great grandkids were there from all 3 coasts and in between. The church was packed...
much food was consumed and Grandma is in a better place...

Good afternoon, storming here off and on, and I mean hard. Torrential rains and thunder/lightning that will shake the house and deafen you. We are all sick to death of this crap here. We juts had floods, that water hasn't gone down yet and it's been no stop storming for days. Farmers can't plant, yards are ankle deep of water. Of course mother nature will have us in a 4 month drought soon. Not sure why the powers to be can't spread the rain out as we need it.
Yea that combine was snazzy yall. Even had "soft close" doors, where you barely shut it and it pulls itself shut. Screen and buttons inside with a joystick. It was nice. One side will be rice image with the 3 beer can logo they've been using, plus the US Farmed logo and the dealer logo, and will say "Choose beer grown here" on the side. It will be displayed with the grain cart that will be made to look like a glass of beer. All this work for a 1 day event. It wont be printed till mid may as my vaca started today. I didn't get to measure it till wednesday morning, they'll either approve while I'm gone or ask for changes. Boss is pissy cause he wanted to print while I was gone and get install going. I can't help the chain of command between the dealer and Budweiser.

Sue is riled and she contacted an attorney to sue the neighbors in civil court. Expensive proposition but Sue can do as she wishes. I told her I wasn't really interested in a law suit. Mainly because of the out of pocket expense to recover what? You have to go to councelling if you want to pursue pain and suffering. The fence is old so not sure what would be gained. The big point is the attorney would issue a 7 day letter to have the dog removed from the property. I've got animal control working on that. I think the attorney's approach would have more bite through the court. Sue will do what Sue will do. After 40 years my of trying I still haven't swayed her much when she is committed to something. I'm just trying to keep myself from getting committed.


Hot and sunny. Been dry as a bone here for quite awhile. Rainy season is coming soon so I'll just take what we have now and force myself to enjoy it.
