Well, it's been a long week. Monday morning we drove down from KC to Fayetteville for the #1 GDs master program review. Loaded up a loveseat and kitchen table and a couple chairs to haul back to KC (ended up being Manhattan). Tuesday morning we got up and headed back to KC for my appointment with the Neuro-surgeon.
The appointment was revealing and in the end I scheduled surgery for the 19th... yea pretty quick, but I figure, get 'er done so I can get on the road to recovery. Left there at 3:30 and headed home. Still have the load from Arkansas on, so made a short detour into Manhattan to drop it off with #2GD who is finishing up her masters next year at K-State. Got back on the road and got home about 10:45pm. Wednesday and Thursday were catch up day and scrambling to finish up some projects in the shop as after surgery, I with NOT be able to do much work as most of the summer is going to be recovery mode. The doctor felt very confident that this was going to fix many of the problems I have been experiencing. But I will be basically out of commission most of the summer. Have a great day. |

I am looking forward to the weekend.... been on the road all week... kick back work on the cars a bit.... what's that hon? We have to mulch all weekend..... yeah I gotta check my schedule.... I did not see that coming..... I hate mulch... we get it in bulk pickup loads.... been 2 years since we last put some out..... damnation.....
