Good Morning CGs!

Weather has been cold and rainy all week. Looks like we will have a little sun this weekend. Hopefully it will pull me out of my bad weather funk.

The other day I bit the bullet and decided to order a new set of rims for the camaro. The rims that I should have ordered when I got the car but I was being cheap and didn't want to pay for them. I got them put on yesterday. Classic looking torque thrust twos. Can't go wrong. I love the look. Everyone at the tire shop loved the car. The manager asked me what I thought once they got put on. And I said it looks like I'm looking at the car I remember from 25 years ago. Holy crap does that make me old? I guess.

Feeling a little better but that's not saying much. I ordered two customized canes from Etsy yesterday. They might come in handy sometime. I'll have to go see the back doc bedore long i already have a follow-up appointment scheduled.

50% chance of rain today. Supposed to be clear for Sun/Mon.

Morning guys... another eventless night, just what I was hoping for... post-op that is. Not expecting any other events for a while.

We are heading home here about noonish. The typical 6 1/2 hour drive will probably be closer to 8, I guessing today with extra stops for getting out and walking/stretching.

I think that recovery is moving along about as expected. Only walked a bit over a mile yesterday.

Tommy go see the doc and consider having your back fixed, I don't think you'll regret it. Matt, I've always liked those retro style wheels on that gen Camaro.

Tee, I agree, if something is bothering us, get it fixed. Quality of life is important, and being in pain just messes with my mental health and the rest soon follows. Glad to hear you're moving along well. overcast here today, supposed to rain the next 3 days straight. Of course next week for work it will be sunny. I'm sick as shit of this mess, we all are down here. Farmers having a rough go as well cause of it. I just want nice weekends so I can get outside and enjoy things since I'm cooped up indoors all week, not sure why ONLY the weekends have to be crappy. make the most of it - On a different note, three folks I know have passed all in the last few days, the drummer from the band me and the ex sort of managed back in the mid 90s, then a woman I have known most of my life, my dad and hers used to be besties, whole family is nice, then yesterday a local guy who was my first introduction into lifting and trying to be in better health. He is also a cornerstone for the boxing group I'm in now, small world, his sister I know as well as his daughter and grandson. Makes me feel old, circle is def getting smaller
