Morning guys...

Cool, cloudy and damp today. Highs, they say in the upper 50s. Nothing really on the agenda. I got around 2 miles in again yesterday. Will make every attempt to get at least that in again today.

I did NOT watch any of the 500 yesterday, and haven't heard a word about it, so must not have been much of a race, or it didn't happen. ?????

Damn rain for damn sure, we are all beyond sick of it here, especially the farmers, they're two crops behind. Hat's off and glass raised to all that gave sacrifice today.
Slept late, probably could've slept all day. Arron still in there. If he'd get up we have a break to take the bike out. I need to clean but with all this rain, my depression is way up and mood bottomed out, not wanting to do anything but doom scroll on my phone. Feels like Sunday and I keep thinking "I'll clean tomorrow on my day off" but tomorrow is Tuesday and I have a grain cart to finish. I was >>this<< close to running down to Pensacola, kicking myself for not going. Perfect beach, perfect weather, tons of shells and here I sit. But, it's about 1200 still in my pocket so there's that.
marcus, ARron don't know it yet but I'm considering selling off the Nightster as a down pay on the PanAm except - he looked some up that were a couple years old an they do not hold value for crap. He found one for 9k that was a 22 model. With the height of it, it's more suited to him, he's 6'5". The seat I'd ride on is small but there's a ton of accessories you can get for those including a storage box with pad that bolts on for a back rest for the passenger. He said they ride smoother also.

Morning all.... got a workout in this AM... rainy and very cool high of 61 but feels like 51.... no work on the porch steps or yard or Mocycle riding.... I will add a damnation on rainy weather also....

Arron at 6'5" would way fit better on a Pan Am Glide.... All toys are under heavy discount right now but especially HD. The Boomers who fueled the HD express of the 80's to 2020 are fading away.... HD trying to find a solution but high interest and very high prices on each bike has them 60% off of sales as recently as 2023.... All the woke crap did not help either...

In 21 I bought my Revival brand new and gave $30K for it... 1395 of 1500 made...I then put $5K more in it to make it right for me and I would be lucky to get $16 or 17,000 for it now...the bottom has fallen out. Buying a low mile slightly used one seems to make the most sense right now.

I always wanted to ride and even learned some on a Kaw-ahhh-sahk--eeee. Not a Yah--mah--hah. I was actually going to go with a buddy for each of us to buy a Harley. One of my other buddies got killed that day on his motorcycle. I never even thought about going back to buy again. Lost several friends who rode. I drank a lot back then and figured I'd be better off in a cage. I think I was right. to my fallen brothers in arms. The military mentality is so different from the civilian. So glad I served. It put a little red on my neck.

Good Afternoon CGs!

Took RR#2 with me and went to the community Memorial Day celebration. RR#1 was playing in the band as she is a section leader. They had a group of about 20 and did the national anthem and taps. There was also a fire department bagpipe group. It was a nice ceremony.

I buttoned up the mustang the other day with the newly rebuilt transmission. Took that out for the maiden voyage today and all was well. I still need to do valve cover and intake gaskets and it's ready to sell.
