D-Day .... I've watched several documentaries on the landing. Unbelievably atrocious. The men knew they were likely to die on the beach. Filled with fear they dismounted the landing craft and ran into a barrage of enemy fire. The dead and injured laid all over the beach and in the water. That was a battle of all battles with so many sacrificing their life to turn the tide against the Nazi war machine.
 to those that partook in this major endevour. Capt Mike. What the hell are the sellers suing for after the closing? Inquiring minds want to know. Back is feeling like I can do something today though I'm off to slow start. I'll try to get something done. Cloudy but not raining. |

Deserving salutes to those who sacrificed.
What would provoke a buyer to sue the seller that couldn't be rectified in a simple meeting or phone call? That's nuts. sunny here this afternoon so I ran errands earlier then just sat in pool till around 6ish. Made supper and here I sit, he's in shop tearing down someone's truck to do a lifter job or something. His boss man just left here, dropped him off a box of beer for no apparent reason. I think the truck he's working on might be a friend of his boss. He did mention boss quoted the work at the shop and it was gonna be over 5 grand, dude only paid 12 for the truck. supposed to have rained today and didn't do what was projected so my plants are wilting. Alleged rain coming in at 4am, fingers crossed. If it rains tomorrow I plan to clean house since I'll be stuck in here, he will finish that truck maybe and get paid. |
