You have got a lot of use out of the C4 platform.... all cars as they age take patience to keep them going. The C4 maybe more than most.... they were produced early on in the government mandates to clean up emissions and other things. By the C5, Chevy had made great improvements on all of that and reliability was so much better with the LS engines.... I think the C6 was what I call the last of the analog Corvettes.... nowadays they are a big computer rolling down the road.... no shade tree mechanics going on with those.....

rained again last night... Big Ag is at a standstill but the crops are loving it. Doc made me do mulch yesterday in the heat and humidity.... took 3 yards of it and 30 bags to get it all done... I was wore out after all that....

Rain on the plain. All the plants got a nice drink. The grass is wet so I'm thinking I should take a nap and give some time to dry. Or just take a nap .... because I can. I could do some inside stuff but why start something I can do later, or never at all. There is and always will be something to do. Doing it is a whole other matter. Had new brake pads put on the Suburban becasue of a squeal. Still squealing on light brake pressure. Guess I have to go back to the shop and replace the rotors and clean up the calipers. See if that takes care of it. The Mrs is not happy with brake squeal or my suggestions to either turn up the music or make harder stops. Guess I have to get it fixed right.

If my truck is correct, it's 100 out. Humidity is maxed out too feels like. Just had another doc appt for me, and one more tomorrow then I'm done till August. Stressy as heck at work, finished up the Budweiser job, then trying to get caught up on wraps, and now I have a last minute one apparently he promised - not sure why - we're also in the process of moving across the street, he sold the tint part out to his daughter and SIL, I'll be the last to go. Printers and other stuff has to go first, and of course whatever they were doing to the floor over there, ain't done so can't move stuff and we are supposed to be out of here by the 1st. Don't see it happening. I'm now told to be here Monday, not sure what for. If he thinks I'm coming up here on my one day off to move shit, he's nuts and it will cost him about $500.
