God Bless America. Doing this and that today. Hope I don't get ANY phone calls. Anything I get done is a positive. July, hot time of the year. I'll take heat over freezing anyday but as with my politics I'm more of a moderate. 59-75 is my prime temperature preference and it will be back later this year. Like in December. As we see with this year time is flying. I see some folks have already put up their Christmas lights. .... Or maybe they just never take them down. One of my pet peeves.

Good morning, hot here soon as I walked out this morning, like an oven. I feel for those having to work out in it. Guys here got the printer and laminator, and the back cut table moved over the weekend, pretty much cleared out. They have small stuff to get still. I'll probably move over next week, but I've gathered up some of the stuff I'm not using and boxed that up, but I need a couple more boxes. At least I don't have any projects really pending, just a couple small things and they are aware we are moving and aren't in any real hurry. The printer and laminator have to be working first, and there's a van that needs to go out tonight they need to get done. Kinda crazy around here.

4th of July eve in SoFlo is like a victory celebration in Beruit. In between the fireworks you can hear people emptying there clips and even some automatic gunfire rounds popping off. Best to stay under cover. And there are alwys some innocents that get killed in the melee. I try to stay out of the lines of fire.

Hey guys, made it to KC yesterday. Drove James. First time out since last summer when we went to Wisconsin. He really needed to stretch his legs. Come to find out (I simply forgot) that yesterday was National Corvette Day, so the drive was appropriate. It rained on us from Topeka all the way into KC, so James needed a bath this morning... he looks like a million bucks now. getting ready to have a bite for lunch and then head to the doctor.

I might check back after the appointment to let you know what the doctor said.

Hot one here again.

4th of July is insane around here. I hear mortars going off just about every day in the month preceding the holiday. On the actual 4th of July don't go to Chicago. What you think are fireworks are actually gunshots. There's a reason they call it Chiraq. That's why you see a police car parked under a bridge. What goes up must come down.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Well, doctor was very pleased with my results and progress. He said I was responding better than most, but about what he expected from me. Told me I could start basically doing whatever I wanted to do, just work into it gradually. Your body will tell you if it's too much. Adding 5 -10 lbs lifting every week or so ... except golfing. Wants me to wait on that until after 12 weeks (6 more) before doing full swings, and maybe a little longer than that, which I totally understand. I come back up here on the 12th of August for that, in person, visit.

Pic of x-rays, the two on the left are from today, the one on the right is presurgery. Notice the length of those screws. Today he told me the rods between those screws are about 50mm long.... with that information, it appears those screws must be close to 2 1/2" long. I was thinking they might be 1 1/4".
