Well, I'm up. It's always good to get home and sleep in your own bed. It's 71 and breezy, headed for a high of upper 80s, cooler than a 'normal' July 4th.

Nothing planned for today. I got James washed before putting him on the lift. And washed off the caddy while sprayer was out. I might hit the pickup today as well.

Probably go out to the ball complex to watch fireworks this evening. I wish you and yours a wonderful Americas birthday.

Good morning, fireworks started here last night, neighbor across street shooting some over the field so I could see from front door. Some at the ballpark down the street tonight plus food trucks, an event to benefit a local charity that helps kids. We'll probably go to that one, or go on to next town over both big radio stations put on a show every year. Arron has a camshaft to put into a truck, a job for something else turned into a couple of teardowns for this truck, he's mad and wants it gone it's been here 3 weeks. Dude ordered parts off Ebay first and got wrong year, then reordered another kit and it was missing some things he needed, then dude didn't tell him waterpump housing was busted or something so then he had to take stuff off again and wait on a part to fix that, then something with camshaft , so had to tear down again. He's planning to fix it today and get it out of here. He's given the guy a piece of his mind already since the dude calling trying to pressure him to get it done, and he got promptly informed it would've been done long ago if it wasn't for his own stupidity, ordering wrong parts, missing parts, chinese parts etc. And Arron had a motor swap lined up that next weekend as this truck would have been gone, so the motor swap happened and this truck was pushed out to get that done. People piss me off. He can stay in shop today I'll sit in the pool since we obviously won't be going anywhere like I'd planned. He was supposed to put in for Monday off so we'd have a long weekend and he forgot. Figures.

My continuous glucose sensor is giving false readings. I went and got a single use type with the strips and confirmed the continuous one is reading way low. I guess that could be a blessing in disguise .... or not. Have to see how high my blood sugar really gets.

After seeing Tom's spinal x-rays I am even more committed to staying off the surgical table until I'm in a scootaround. Back has been feeling better but hoping for continued progress. I aged 5 years in 6 months. Hope to turn that back around.
