Morning guys... Not much on the agenda. Uppers 80s expected. We had a nice shower of 1/2" last night which put a stop to the fireworks for a while. probably a very positive thing to wet things down when the fireworks started back up.

Church later.

Remembering when I may have enjoyed a fifth on the fourth. A client of Sue's invited us to his home for a fireworks display. Very professionally done. Around 30 of us gathered for an outstanding display of classic booms, bangs, whistles and pffft noises accompanied with a dazzling display of light. It's been a few years since I've sat and watched a fireworks display since I have seen so many. I give it an A+. We did it all in thge comfort of is large, lushly landscaped backyard. We were fortunate to score a couple of metal chairs that you could gently rock. Well, the wheel in the sky keeps on turning. Labor Day will be here in a flash.

Good afternoon, still hot and muggy here. Fireworks were beautiful last night down the road at the park. Could see them from the yard, then got in the truck later and drove around a bit looking at some. New neighbors over here in the new developed area spent some bucks, they had a nice display too. Just the two of us here so slept in, then sat around with breakfast and coffee then sat in pool a bit. Later went to town for some groceries since stores were empty, picked up steak takeout and came home. I think he's gonna finish the truck today and the most I've accomplished is getting a shower.
