Good Morning CGs!
Weather finally cooled a little bit for us. It's enjoyable to drive with the t-tops off once it cools down a little bit. Still need to fix the ac on the trans am but I'll get to it. Took the wife to the Honda dealer on Wednesday. Had a long day of haggling (which I am not fond of) but we walked out with a new 26 Passport for a sweet deal. Traded in the 20 Passport she's had since new. Wife deserves a nice treat for all she does. Had a few days off and it felt like I was retired. Haggling at the dealers is always a Battle Royale. Of course it has to be approved by the sales manager. "Oh, we can't do that. We'd be losing money on the deal." OK! Thanks anyway and walk toward the door. Sue is a fair negotiator and great haggler. I'm even worse. They present her the deal and I turn it down. I'm our personal sales manger. We generally don't buy new cars because of depreciation but have bought new in the past. Hope your wife enjoys the new car smell Matt. I like the color. I was working in the yard but came in. After yesterday I don't have it in me to work outside again today. I'm a good pro-crastinator. Why do today what you can put off till tomorrow? |

Nice ride Matt.... you are right my bride deserves to drive the best....we look for cars coming off short leases...usually 2 year or 3 year.... lot drop is off and you can deal on them. Honda may not have lot drop like the Big 3 cars....
