Good Morning CGs!

In reference to the new car smell, this car smells awful. In the old days new car smell was leather and newness. Now it's a funky, foul, unnatural plastic scent. It gives me a headache and it gives the wife a headache just sitting in the car. Yesterday she parked it with the windows cracked open to sort of alleviate that a little bit. But you can't even leave the car in the driveway with the windows down nowadays because you're afraid someone will break in. Terrible state of affairs we're in.

I agree that buying a car two or three years old is usually the best financial decision. But this is the new body style for this year so you can't buy it used. And Hondas and Toyotas tend to maintain their value pretty well. So it's really a better option to just buy it new.

The kids saw the car for the first time today. RR#1 was upset because she doesn't like any change whatsoever. RR#2 said he couldn't care less either way. Polar opposites those two.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Morning guys... had a couple days where it wasn't hot temp-wise, but we are NOT used to the humidity we've been having, so felt warm anyway. Supposed to head back to "normal" temps next week (mid to upper 90s).

Not a lot going on here for me.

New cars are never in my future, I'll work with those lease returns when possible, but I'm not looking for any cars right now. I did get the battery changed in the Caddy...what a PITA that was. Nearly everything in the trunk had to be removed just to get to it. Just a little over an hour to do the job.

Matt...head down to the store and get a whole chit load of little Christmas trees to hang around in your new ride...I think they make a New Car smell one....I personally like the shaving lotion one..... they got rid of Spice which was my all time favorite... it smelled like Old Spice which is my aftershave of choice... Doc's also.... just saying...

cloudy and cooler here... I like it but the corn does not...need sunshine to make bushels.... working around the place today getting after weeds and rogue trees and such.

I'm thinking a Sirloin Steak is in the plan for later... Eat Beef Guru's.....
