Great stuff!!!
The track surface, specifically the concrete portions, are 85 year old slabs, and they have settled strangely in that FL sand they call soil. 3' thick, rebar'd. It ain't going anywhere... If you are walking along Midway Dr, at the edges near the vendors, look down. You will see something that looks like this: >|< About 6 to 8 inches long, couple inches wide. About 1" into the concrete. They are the original tie down points. Midway was taxiway and parking! |
