Scraped the bottom hood lip backing out of my garage so I started sanding the white paint off. Now I have a cresent indent in that spot about 1/16 inch deep with white paint still showing on my '93 vette, so I brushed with black paint touch up to match car color. What materials do I need to fix this? I have no expertise in fiberglass repair. Thanks for any info.

ok... you need to hit the Eastwood catalog...

The modern Corvette is NOT made of fibreglass, it's called SMC - Sheet Molded Compound. It has a built in release agent that requires a specialized glue that will beat out said release agent.

Eastwood sells the filler you will need to fix that.

Painting is another issue...

I would bet money that a local body shop would fix that up and shoot the area for under $400... it isn't big, I suspect...
