Ok, I just had a Friend of mine PCS to DC. I expect a bunch of his stuff to be broken on arrival. Any one ever have a move where nothing was broken? I am not talking self moves but where they come and pack it up for you. I have had TONS of things broken in moves. Secondly, have you ever completed your claim on the damaged goods?

I had the Army move me from Bragg to Carson without anything being damaged. A year later they mooved me back to Bragg with the same result. I have however heard of the nightmare stories that allot of soldiers have had to deal with. Before the movers leave your new house make sure you have them put in writing what was damaged in the move. good Luck.

I have never been in a move where nothing got damaged. One time (at Bragg) they opened the incoming crate and nothing but wood bits fell out. They totally destroyed my desk and piled it into this box! I am glad you had no incidents and hope you continue on that path. Thanks for the input!
