the module seems to work intermittently once the car is in gear
while in park it works just fine. once in gear it defaults to 75 degrees then works intermittently - some times it will work just fine for a few minutes - then default back and not work at all. I have had the entire a/c system checked and everything is working okay. nobody seems to have ever heard of this problem before.

Hey welcome back..why don't you register so we know who we are talking to!

So, some A/C control modules are notorious for needing to be cleaned and have the solders checked inside. I can't remember what all you have done to it, but I would pull the unit out of the dash. Claen all the connections and if you feel comfortable, take the cover off and inspect all the solder joints. Some tend to crack or come loose with extreme temperature changes or rough riding over bumps and ruts.

Check back with us and let us know what you find!
